Authorities Say They Found A Tiger After Being Called For A Shooting

Authorities say they found a tiger at an Albuquerque home. Albuquerque Police Department officers say they were responding to reports of a home shooting Tuesday afternoon. Vargas Mercado was arrested after he and Kevin Gerrado were located with a hand gun. At least one person was shot in the leg, but preliminary evidence shows they were hit by a stray bullet. Officers then followed a blood trail back to a mobile home. That's where they found a Bengal tiger cub inside a dog crate. New Mexico Department of Game and Fish now has custody of the tiger.
