An eight-year-old boy is dead after a freak and tragic accident. Police say the boy was playing basketball at his Corbin, Kentucky home on Monday evening when he climbed on something to dunk the ball. Officials say the backboard then fell on him and caused blunt force trauma to his chest. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His organs were donated, including what his parents called his "heart of gold."
