In April of last year, 24 year old Cynthia McKnight was on a plane from Buffalo to Chicago. At some point she was on her phone when flight attendants asked her to get off. She didn't like that too much and went off on everyone on the plane. She pushed a flight attendant, spit on a passenger, flung the emergency door open and slid down the emergency slide. Airport officials were able to arrest her when was on the tarmac. After a brief struggle, she was taken to airport jail where she damaged a wall. She was eventually let go and had to go to court where she was sentenced to time served and three years probation. She agreed to pay $42,128 in damages she caused and says she was drunk and upset the plane wasn't leaving.
