Police in Minot, North Dakota have accused Ina Thea Kenoyer of poisoning her boyfriend after she’d learned about his “plans to dump her.” Reportedly, 51-year-old Steven Edward Riley, Jr. had learned hours earlier that he was inheriting $30 million. Rather than accept the dumping, Kenoyer allegedly poisoned Riley, and didn’t call 911 until the day after he’d died. Allegedly, Kenoyer said she was “entitled to the fortune as Riley’s common-law wife,” and planned to “split” the windfall with his son. Kenoyer is now facing the most serious felony murder charge on the books in North Dakota.
