An Annapolis woman is now out of jail after a drunken New Year rampage. On New Year's day, police were called to a home where 33 year old Emily Morton had broken in around 8:30 in the evening. According to reports, she was drunk and entered the home without permission and assaulted a person. While she was there, she started throwing chairs and damaged window fixtures. She then took off and went next door where she broke a glass patio door. That's where she stripped down naked and took off. Police were bitten and spat on before finally arresting her. She was taken in on charges of first and fourth degree burglary, two counts if second degree assault, malicious destruction of property, and assault on an officer.
