A Nashville man is in custody, accused of murdering his wife with a hammer. Metro police report 70-year-old Joseph Glynn was arrested early Saturday morning in connection the New Year's Day killing of his wife, Jackie. Investigators say Glynn has admitted to striking Jackie with a hammer at their Green Hills neighborhood home and driving her body to their property in DeKalb County, where he reportedly buried her in a cargo crate. Her remains have been recovered. The couple's children worked with MNPD detectives to find information after Jackie's disappearance, telling officials their father claimed Jackie left him after finding out she was terminally ill. Glynn is being held at the Davidson County Jail on an over one-million-dollar bond.
