Robbers Make Off With 100 Pounds Of Smoked Salmon

Employees at Seattle Fish Guys found quite the mess when they came to work last Sunday. According to reports, when they showed up to work that morning, they found evidence of a break in. The owner went to the back of the store and noticed that it had been rummaged through. She says that the damage wasn't typical for burglaries she'd seen before where thieves would ram a car through the front door. Instead...the deadbolt had been drilled out. She said they took some cash, some office junk, but mainly took all the smoked salmon they had. She says the thieves made off with at least 100 pounds of the fish. Along with all that, they broke into an employees locker and took a bottle of champagne they were saving for their birthday. The surveillance cameras were broken so they didn't catch them on tape, she suspects that the burglars were once customers and that they would've needed knowledge of the stuff they stole. Along with all that fish, thousands of dollars and a bottle of bubbly, the thieves made off with some jerky as well. The value of the fish taken was about $2800 and the owner says that the need to keep it refrigerated or they'll be eating a lot of it.
