Charges, including animal cruelty, have been filed against a New Jersey man after he allegedly decapitated a seagull for taking french fries from his daughter. Police say the incident happened earlier this month at Morey's Pier in North Wildwood. Police say 29-year-old Franklin Ziegler was also charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Ziegler was released from jail pending a court date.
