A man who was babysitting at a Battle Creek, Michigan home is charged with child abuse after a five-year-old he was caring for opened the door with a loaded handgun when a police cadet was serving a subpoena on Saturday. Blayke Yorks was arraigned on the charges and is in the Calhoun County Jail. Police searched the home and found an infant covered in rashes and rushed that child to a hospital. The other two children were taken by Child Protective Services, and Yorks admitted the gun was his.
