They do things differently in Montana. According to reports, back in January, thirteen police officer from the Bozeman police department, including two sergeants, were found to have taken part in an on duty game called "crime bingo". The game involved officers checking off bingo squares for specific types of arrests or incidents. Some of the squares included searching a vehicle or responding to certain calls or even putting a fire out before the fire department got there. Bozeman police chief said while the game lasted 12 days non of the 24 cases during this period were improperly influenced. Disciplinary actions were taken against those involved, and the chief says the department is addressing the issue so it doesn't happen again.
