Cybercrime Investigation Leads To Accidental Drug Bust

When they look into you for one crime and end up busting you for a lot more. According to reports, Special agents from the Homeland Security Investigations Cyber Crime Unit were doing a knock and search federal search warrant on John Simers of Lowell Massachusetts in hopes of getting some computer equipment and digital storage media. John let them in and when he did, they found a lot more than what they were originally there for. While agents were there, they found $135k in cash, 398 grams of ecstasy, 49 grams of cocaine, 15 pounds of weed, about a pound of shrooms, 293 containers of THC gummies, 919 THC vape pens, and 554 psilocybin chocolate bars. Along with the original charges, John faces multiple charges as well.
