Karen Read is signing a deal to develop a screen adaptation of her murder case. Earlier this month, Read was acquitted of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges in the death of her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe. Read's defense had argued she was framed by other police officers for O'Keefe's murder. Now, Read and her defense attorney are partnering with LBI Productions to develop a project that reportedly will contain details of her story not yet made public.
