New York Realtor Banned from Colombia After Airport Meltdown

Emmanuel Hernández, a 42-year-old American man, faces a 10-year ban from Colombia after causing a disturbance at Rafael Núñez International Airport in Cartagena.

Hernández, a New York native visiting Colombia to celebrate his father's birthday, lost his temper at the airport's immigration desk.

He was filmed cursing, punching a glass window, and slamming a computer screen to the ground. Authorities intervened, leading to his arrest.

Hernández cited feeling unwell and the stress of a delayed trip as reasons for his outburst. He expressed regret for his actions and is currently awaiting a flight back to the United States.

Colombia Migration confirmed the incident and stated that Hernández would cover the costs of the damages.
