It takes a lot to get me to tear up, but Godsmack's "Under Your Scars" always gets to me. It's definitely my favorite Godsmack song.
When Sully sings "Under your scars I pray, you're like a shooting star in the rain, you're everything that feels like home to me," it always gives me chills. I feel this song champions being proud of your "scars." Whatever "scars" you have from what you've gone through, don't hide them. Wear them proudly. They helped make you who you are. At least, that's what this song says to me!
