Dodge Confirms All Cars Will Be Electric By 2024

Dodge has confirmed that 2023 will be the last year for the Challenger, Charger, and V-8 Hellcat powertrain as we know it. In order to meet emissions regulations and non-compliance fees, Dodge says that all of their cars – yes, ALL of them – will be “electrified” beginning in 2024. That doesn’t mean the “Challenger” and “Charger” names are dead, but they will be “retired” while Dodge works on what’s being called their new electric “eMuscle” car for 2024.
