Woman Pleads Guilty To Murder Of 5-Year - Old Daughter She Reported Missing

A petty officer in the Navy is now looking prison time. Back in 2019, 29 year old Brianna Williams reported her 5 year old daughter missing. All seemed to be going well with her story until she stopped cooperating with the law when they questioned her about some inconsistencies in her story. Six days after the report was filed, police found human remains following a massive search for the girl near her hometown in Alabama. Investigation shows that the girl was last at her daycare in april of 2019, and the grandparents say they haven't seen their granddaughter in over a year. Through forensic analysis, police were able to identify the remains of the girl, but due to advanced decomposition, they were unable to determine the exact cause of death, but did find evidence of illness and neglect. When the law executed a search warrant, they found evidence of abuse including soiled carpet and clothing, along with blood, and a cadaver dog gave indication in her apartment and her car. Brianna has plead guilty and now faces life in prison.
