In Obion County Tennessee sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a camel on the loose last week. When they got there, they found two people unconscious and the camel still on the run. According to reports, the camel attacked a sheriff's vehicle and started to move in on the deputies when they put it down for the safety of others. The two victims, 42 year old Bobby Matheny and 67 year old Tommy Gunn both died of their injuries, and there's no word on how they got out. The Tennessee Safari Park director stated that the animal was never a part of the petting zoo that was open to the public. He said that the camel was part of a breeding situation and was held away from the public and has no idea how the animal got out.
