Cheetos has introduced a special edition of its Flamin’ Hot Smoky Ghost Pepper Puffs to coincide with the premiere of the "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" movie, featuring a design that includes a 'slimed' bag and Chester Cheetah dressed in a Ghostbusters uniform.
This release follows fans noticing clues to a connection between the snack and the franchise in the newest movie’s trailer, where the iconic character Slimer is shown with a ring of Cheetos dust around his mouth.
Sony Pictures is also celebrating the pairing with a contest. Bags of the limited-edition Cheetos feature a QR code that could lead to winning a grand prize of a trip to a future movie premiere or $5-thousand cash!
