Despite all the warnings about wrinkles and skin cancer, these youngsters are diving headfirst into tanning beds, embracing the Y2K vibes with a "live fast, die hot" attitude that's all over TikTok. And it's not just about looking good; it's about feeling good, too. For many, being tan is a confidence booster and a quick fix for feeling down in the dumps. But here's the kicker: experts are screaming that there's no such thing as a safe tan, whether it's from a bed or the beach. Still, despite all the science and advancements in self-tanning products, Gen Z is sticking to their guns, trading safety for the perfect glow.
