When you go on vacation does it mean it's a vacation from sleeping next to your spouse? My wife and I go to Vegas a LOT, but we also go other places too. But we almost always stay in a room with 2 queen sized beds. My wife sleeps next to me at home, but she has our dogs on top of her. So when it's vacation time, she likes to, as she would say, starfish in her own bed.
37% of couples sleep in different beds when they travel, according to Hilton’s 2025 Trends Report. Which means if you like to starfish like my wife, then you're not alone.
Some people like to spend all day in their hotel bed. Not me. I need to get out and see things. So I always bring back coffee and set it next to her. Kind of a morning treat for her. (coffee is gross in my book BTW)
This all being said just so you know it's cool to have your own bed on vacation. All the cool kids are doing it. LOL
