Did your office plan a holiday party for you? I mean not just you, but the office? I have a co worker who says "if the company offers to buy you ________, you need to show up." I get it, but sometimes you hate the fake laughing at bad jokes and the constant ass kissing. Is your office/workplace planning to have a celebration for you and your coworkers?
65% of employees say they’re likely to attend their work’s holiday party, a survey of 2,000 U.S. workers found. A WAY bigger number then I thought it was going to be BTW. But wait...there's more. 39% say they would come for the free food, and 34% would go if their work friend went, too. Overall, 55% of workers feel more appreciated during the holiday season. Workers appreciate hearing “thank you” from their boss, being appreciated by peers, and receiving regular raises. can we opt to take a raise and not have a holiday party?
