Is American Idol still on TV? Yes. (didn't know that for some reason, but I'll check it out now.) Jelly Roll is coming to the show. He's lost over 100lbs prepping for a 5k and he plans to do another soon. So why not show off his new look on TV's American Idol?
Jelly Roll is the first-ever “artist in residence” for the upcoming season, joining the show during “Hollywood Week” and continuing to be a permanent fixture throughout. But you say they're had guests like this before. Buttttttt..... Jelly Roll will offer direct guidance to the Idol hopefuls.
This news coincides with Carrie Underwood replacing Katy Perry as a judge, marking the first change at the judges’ table in seven years. Whoa
Season 23 of American Idol premieres on Sunday, March 9, on ABC, with a special preview of the season after the Oscars telecast on March 2, 2025. Jelly Roll’s recent album, 2024’s Beautifully Broken, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and the country singer received two 2025 Grammy nominations for his hit single, “I Am Not Okay,” as well as a nod for Best New Artist in 2024
Will Jelly Roll be the reason you finally go back to watching the show? Maybe, do we get to see Bunny? lol, but seriously, I'm sure we will. Will you be watching now that Jelly Roll is joining the show?
