These Are The States With Expensive Rent

When I first moved out of my families house into my own place, I scored the deal of all deals of rent. It wasn't in the ghetto (finally), but it was a building owned by an older gentleman who just wanted people to keep the places nice. My rent was like $200 a month. Unreal right? I thought the same thing. Then my tour of the USA started happening with my job and stuff. So that deal was gone.

It was a slap in the face when I moved across the country and rent was $1200 a month. Now it's even higher. So that's why I thought "Might as well just buy something if I'm already paying that anyway." That comes with a cost too, but that's another story for another time.

So if you're planning to move. You can always listen to us on iHeartRadio, but keep in mind depending on where you move to, rent could be more expensive then home is now.

So who talked about the cheapest rent, but these 13 places have rent that starts at $2k a month. So if you're moving you might need this.

California leads at $2,895 monthly, followed by Hawaii at $2,869, Massachusetts at $2,595, and New York at $2,592. New Jersey rounds out the top five at $2,373. All of these places are really nice to visit, but when you want to move prepare to pay.

West Virginia offers the most affordable rents at $1,126 a month, followed by South Dakota at $1,185 and North Dakota at $1,201.

studyfinds.com has the list of all 13 cities with rent that starts at $2000 a month. Use this info wisely my friend.
