Do you end up going to bed at the same time as your spouse? It could be the sign of a longer relationship.

A survey of 2,000 married Americans reveals couples with smaller “bedtime gaps” report greater marital happiness. But what does going to bed at the same time have to do with this and how does it help?

Matching sleep patterns also matter. Couples who are both night owls or early birds show higher happiness rates 71 to 78% compared to mixed chronotype pairs coming in at 59%.

Age affects preferences significantly, with 62% of millennials sleeping better together versus only 27% of baby boomers.

So the moral to the story is, if you go to bed close to the same time as your person, you could be extending your relationship. Give it a shot.
