I know Easter was this past Sunday, and you probably had the best day ever with family and friends. But did you have an Easter Egg hunt that turned into a police investigation?
A family hunting for Easter eggs in Long Beach, California discovered what appeared to be a child's skull and bones Sunday around 5pm. Long Beach Police called the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office and placed a canopy over the partially exposed remains. All I found was an egg with a smarties candy, not even chocolate.
Police said the remains are possibly human but have not revealed age, identity, or how long they may have been there. Officers stuck around overnight. Authorities say information will be limited during the ongoing investigation.
I guess you solved your problem of needing to buy Easter candy if everyone would be afraid of what they will find.
