Your dogs are supposed to be your best friend. Not the person who shoots you. I guess your best friend could shoot you, but why?
A woman suffered minor arm injuries after a dog accidentally discharged a shotgun at a Nebraska convenience store.
Police responded to reports of gunfire in the parking lot, then discovered a truck with door damage and a female struck by shotgun pellets. The investigation revealed the woman had left a loaded shotgun in the backseat while shopping inside the store. The unattended dog moved around the seats (as dogs do) and triggered the weapon, firing through the car and hitting the woman.
The injured woman was hospitalized with minor wounds. No other injuries occurred during the visit to the store. The police have not disclosed the dog's breed or potential charges against the owner as the investigation continues.
So not that the dog meant to shoot, but just to show you things happen.
