With as much time as we spend in our cars, they should be a happy place for us...I mean even if you deal with issues, and smells. We eat in there, take our kids places, have had big moments in there. You're car believe it or not is part of you.
In a study of 2000 people they say your car helps with freedom and reflection of opportunities that you have. 42% view driving as relaxing, while 53% enjoy the independence it provides.
But is it your "Happy Place?" When I think of a happy place I think of Vegas, a beach somewhere, maybe time with my family. But my car? I like my ride, but I don't think of it as a happy place like the study shows.
Key happiness factors include no traffic, listening to your favorite music, and sunny weather. Over half stay in their cars after reaching destinations for personal time. So believe it or not, if you're going to be paying for something for a few years, you might as well love it, and prepare to make it happy for at least 3-5 years.
