All I wanted was a small wedding with friends. But even mine got out of hand and quick. Don't get me wrong. It was a beautiful wedding. But there was a lot of moving parts that kind of take away from the day, but that's a normal wedding from what I can tell.
Well, not for everyone. Nearly 7 in 10 Gen Z adults believe modern weddings feel more like productions than personal celebrations. I can see that. They don't want to have the same old same old wedding, but some traditions are not so bad.
While 90% still want to marry, 92% would break traditional expectations to reduce costs or stress. BINGO! Just escape what everyone else wants and make the day about YOU.
Now, some Gen Z'ers prefer smaller, intimate celebrations over large traditional weddings, with 40% favoring personalized details and budget conscious elements. No matter what you decide, just remember what the day is supposed to be about. You and your spouse to be.
