Reports in Albuquerque say a skunk smell is plaguing the town of Hagerman. Aparently because of a mild winter, the smelly mammals are coming out early. The owner of Hagerman Township Animal Shelter says the annoying animals are hanging in town and generally are not healthy. Police officers are setting up traps around town and in nearby Lake Arthur and Dexter. The healthy skunks will be released on the east side of town, near a river.
