Police were called to a house for domestic abuse, but were unable to enter the apartment, but after they were 'able to detect sound consistent with human cries'.
The tennat told officers that the girlfriend who called 911 was outside. Police couldn't find her and entered the apartment and could smell a raw odor of marijuana. They also found 25 extension chords leading to a closet. The 25 year old was charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams; distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park, and within 1,000 feet of a school; distribution of marijuana over one ounce but less than five pounds; and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
The woman left the apartment after an argument and called 9-1-1 to get her boyfriend in trouble.
The cries the police heard were from a dog.
