An Iowa man has been critical of his hometown for over 3 years. The city, is not a fan. They told him to stop being critical of the stench, or it would sue. This 28 year old man didn't take kindly to that so he decided he would sue for violation of his First Amendment rights. He says he has a right to complain about Iowa Drying and Processing, which makes a high-protein animal food supplement from pig blood. The city disagreed, but a judge found in favor of the complainer. He is awarded over $26,000 in legal fees and compensation. Plus the right to continue to complain about the city and the city will take First Amendment training.
