8 years ago when Kyle Cropsey was 16 years old, he slipped a note inside the window of a blue 1971 Volkswagen bus and called it his "future car." Las week Kyle got a call from Cris Mead, who's father, Cornelius, had purchased the van new and named it Matilda, taking his family on cross-country trips. Cornelius had passed away and his son was cleaning out the van, when he came across Kyles note tucked away in the log book. So, the family decided to give Kyle the van on the condition he update them on its restoration and "go on plenty of adventures." Kyle who is now 23, says it was fate.
