A man found out his wife was cheating and sued him. He was awarded 8.8 million dollars due to a law on the books in North Carolina and 5 other states. The law is based off the thought that a wife is a mans property and is considered outdated by many. The man found out his wife was cheating through text messages and phone records. Confronted the soon to be ex wife, which you can see in the video below and then found out he can sue. The man is planning to appeal paying 8.8 million dollars.
