City officials in Savannah Georgia put a call out on Facebook to find out who put the googly eyes on Nathanael Greene...Nathanael Greene was a Revolutionary War General who served with George Washington, and moved to Georgia after the war. The police haven't made any arrests yet, but are actively searching, asking if anyone knows who did it, to come forward. They say that it may look funny, but harming historic monuments and public property is no laughing matter, in fact, it's a crime. Of course the Facebook post kinda backfired when trolls started posting their own googly eyed pic in the comments.
