Sergey Savitsky, 55, and Oleg Beloguzov, 52 are two scientists that work together in a remote location in Antarctica. The men would often pass the hours by reading books. Savitsky became angry after Beloguzov kept telling him the endings of the books he was reading, so he took a kitchen knife and plunged it into his colleague. The victim is now in intensive care with a knife injury to his heart. Savitsky is now home in St. Petersburg under house arrest as he is charged with attempted murder.
