Aretha Cardinal and her husband Joseph Nelson were in the dirveway of their Texas home when two men in clown masks approached them and held a machete to Nelsons throat. Nelson wrestled away from the man with the machete while Cardinal grabbed their granddaughters scooter and used it to strike the other man. The two men began to run while Nelson and Cardinal chased them and used the scooter to smash the vehicles windshield. The two suspects have been jailed on aggravated robbery charges.
