Fight Over Tupac Turns Violent

Florida police say the late Tupac Shakur is responsible for this particular dispute. Last week Thomas Statkiewicz and Germi Stephens were well lit when the argument ensued over the late rap God. Police responded to 911 calls of a battery in progress, and discovered Mr. Stephens had heavy facial injuries including large lumps where his eyes were swollen shut. They say he was conscious but not able to communicate, and had a broken nose, but no brain bleed. Thomas was arrested after witnesses identified him as the assaulter. He had told the cops he was only defending himself when Germi tried to punch him. He admitted to hitting the man more than once.
