According to police 68-year-old Gary Wayne Anderson crashed into the police vehicle while an officer was away from his car. The officer heard the crash and saw Anderson on a lawn mover with a trailer. The officer saw some minor damage to a rear plastic piece on the vehicle, while Anderson admitted to hitting the police car he said there was no damage. He also admitted to police that he was drunk. Police said he couldnt pass sobriety tests and his demeanor “ranged from laughing to aggressive.” He was taken into custody where his blood-alcohol content registered .241. He was charge with a DUI and officers found his license has been suspended since 1978, with 2 prior DUI convictions. So he was also charged with refusing to submit to a DUI test after a license suspension.
