The Elliot family in Chickasha, Oklahoma said the bees came out of nowhere. Michelle Elliott, along with her four children, boyfriend, best girlfriend, and her four children all moved into the house last December, before there was a pandemic and before there were bees. However, by spring, a few bees around the house have turned into hundreds. Neighbors say they hear the bees swarm multiple times a day. The area around the tree can't be mowed. Every time they have tried they have been attacked. She added that the family dog, buddy has already been stung once. Making matters worse, the old home has no central heat and air so their windows stay open as it gets warmer in the state. The family said they are trying to monitor the hive and the bees as they move around the trees, but say are going to have to deal with it for now.
