Hospital Loses Body Of Infant Who Died

Back in February,a young Florida couple had a baby, but it didn't last long, because the baby died three days later. Kathryn and Travis Wilson had their baby, but due to reasons not shared, the baby died three days later. The hospital that delivered the baby then hire a private company to take it to Orlando Regional Medical Center for an autopsy. The company then returned the baby to the original hospital wrapped in a blanket and a body bag. After the hospital got the baby back in March, they called the parents to tell them that they could proceed with funeral arrangements. The couple then went to a funeral home the next day and provided details to the hospital, but 5 days later on March 11th, someone called to let them know that the body of the baby had gone missing. Now they are suing the hospital for $30k for mental and psychological trauma which has manifested as physical pain, anguish, and loss of capacity to enjoy life. The hospital sent out a statement apologizing, and the body has yet to be found.
