An Alabama girl is in the hospital after her stepfather accidentally shot her. Police say the 15-year-old was dropped off at her home in Clayton the night before her family expected her to return. Thinking that an intruder was breaking in, the stepfather reportedly grabbed his firearm and shot as she entered. She was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, including a wound to her abdomen. It isn't clear whether any charges will be filed.
