Three Mexican citizens are in critical condition after a drug cartel punished them for their alleged thievery. Police say the two men and one woman were found alongside a road in Central Mexico blindfolded, bound, and badly wounded. A bag containing all six of their severed hands was found nearby. Apparently, signs attributed to the narcotic gang Jalisco Nueva Generacion Cartel read that the three were punished because they stole from "good, hard-working people." It is unclear if the appendages can be reattached.
