Children Found Shivering IN The Rain After Mom Locks Them Out Of House

Some parents are just plain assholes no matter where you live. In Pikesville Kentucky, police responded to a call from a friendly neighbor who said they found the neighbor kids stuck outside, shivering in the rain on Monday. The 6 yyear old boy and his 8 year old brother were found with one of them not wearing a shirt or shoes. When troopers went to check on the mother, they could see her though a window unresponsive. After several attempts to wake the woman, police broke in and were about to giver her some Narcan when she finally came to. When 39 year old Holly Abshire woke up, she instantly started yelling obscenities' at the officers. Officers say she became combative when they tried to arrest the woman, shoving one of the officers when he told her about her kids being left outside. When they spoke to the kids, the oldest boy said that mommy was sick from medicine, and the youngest bot told them "mommy beats me up." The oldest boy described his abuse to the officers, to which they found bruising on the kid, but didn't find anything on the youngest. The mom was arrested on two counts of first degree criminal child abuse, along with a slew of other charges.
