Unruly Passenger Bites Man's Ear

There was a flight leaving Newark heading to Miami with a guy named John Yurkovich on board. When the flight got airborne, John got restless and agitated after a trip to the bathroom. According to witnesses, he got up and got what seemed to be some pills from his carry-on. After getting what he needed, he then sat down and started screaming and thrashing about in his seat. Shortly after that, the man rips his facemask off and starts yelling at the man sitting next to him. Eventually he got up and and punched the man several times in his face, breaking his glasses and then bit the man's ear causing him to need seven stiches. A doctor on board ended up subduing the man with a syringe full of Benadryl. The flight was diverted and the man was arrested. His lawyer says this is unusual behavior for John and that he's a loving husband and father and a successful businessman.
