Man Claims Meth Stash Was Toenail Salt

Earlier this week, officers in Louisiana found 47 year old John Combs walking in the middle of the road with a big stick at 4:25 in the morning. When they stopped the man, they asked him to out the stick down, and searched him for other weapons. While they were patting the man down, he did what he could to keep them from searching his pants. That's where they found a Walmart sack in his pocket with a crystal like substance inside. He told the cops that it was salt to treat his ingrown toenail, but when they tested it...it came back as meth. They went ahead and took him in for possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
