Legal papers out of New York show that a parent wants to marry their own adult offspring. Fox News reports that the unidentified person filed suit in the Manhattan federal court, seeking to overturn laws barring the incestuous act. The suit, which keeps identifying information private, says that marriage is a bond and a case of "individual autonomy" regardless of the relationship between the two people. The parent also states that they want to propose and walk down the aisle in New York City, saying this should be totally okay between a parent and child who literally cannot procreate. Legal experts say the lawsuit will not succeed.
