In Arkansas, 33 year old Cordell Coleman was arrested for public intox and had to spent the night in jail. He was released the next day, but it didn't take long to end up back in. When Cordell was released from his tine for public intox, he spotted a patrol car outside of the lockup, and decided to go ahead and take it. When the officer who was responsible for the car came out after filing paperwork, and found the car missing, they started to track the vehicle down. They tracked it to an apartment about 10 miles away from the station, with Cordell inside. The re-arrested Cordell and took him in where they questioned his decision making skills and charged him with felony theft.
