Philippine Coast Guard Seizes 200 Tons Of Giant Clam Shells

The Coast Guard Of The Philippines are celebrating today!!! Over the weekend the Philippine Coast Guard along with other world agencies, seized 200 tons of giant clam shells worth nearly $25 million. According to reports, 4 suspects were arrested. One of them said that her and her group had permission from the Philippine president's office along with other agencies to collect the giant shells, but failed to produce the proper paperwork. She also said she had a treasure hunting permit, but the giant clams aren't covered by it. All four suspects were taken in for breaking the Philippine Wildlife Resource Conservation And Protection Act.
