A Missouri woman is under arrest after allegedly botching a suicide pact between herself and her daughter. St. Peters Police say they arrived to the home of Donna Scuderi following a 911 call from her husband. There, they apparently found Scuderi bleeding from her neck and her daughter, Laura, dead. At a hospital, the woman is said to have told police that the two agreed to die together. She reportedly gave pills to her daughter, put a bag over her head, and then strangled her before attempting to slit her own throat with a kitchen knife. Scuderi has been charged with first-degree murder.
