One Colombian couple says a hospital replaced their stillborn baby with a rat after they lost the remains. At 28 weeks pregnant, Jari Velez was informed that her baby girl had a heart problem, and she died in the womb days later. When her partner, Daniel Jaramillo, came to a mortuary for funeral preparations, he claims an undertaker opened the chest supposedly containing the baby remains to find a huge rat. The hospital has since apologized and is planning to conduct an internal investigation. The family says they are appalled and demand that the hospital finds the missing baby's remains.
